Dr. Misty J. Brown

In 1995, Dr. Misty J. Brown broke ground and built her dental office in the heart of Keller, Texas. She maintains that solo private practice today. In addition, her office building contains a full time day care for the convenience and benefit of her team members. Her early morning appointments are structured specifically to support busy stay at home moms, as well as businessmen and women.

Since completing her formal dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Brown has continued to strengthen her skills and knowledge by completing hundreds of hours of dental education annually. She completed extensive training at the Dawson Academy in Florida and Kois Center for Dental Excellence in Seattle, Washington. She has also earned her Fellowship in the American Dental Implant Association. In addition, Dr. Brown graduated after completing a surgery residency at the prestigious, world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute.

She is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Fort Worth Junior League, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Fellow in the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Brown has traveled annually to Romania providing dental relief to orphanages in Bucharest.

When Dr. Brown is not with her patients, she enjoys her time with her husband Michael and their three children, Katy, Kalli, and Samantha. Dr. Brown's hobbies include shooting sporting clays, yoga, hunting, golf, basketball, tennis, and going to see movies. She adores her two dogs and two cats.

Kay DeYoung - Patient & Front Desk Coordinator

I am Kay DeYoung and I am Dr. Brown's patient and front desk coordinator, and this practice has been an important part of my life since I moved here in 1998. I have work in the dental field for over 25 years, starting in Longview, Texas.

It makes me proud to be able to refer family and friends to Dr. Brown because of her exceptional care for each and every patient. Her attention to detail and high standard of care for each patient is of the highest quality. The entire team is dedicated to the same goal “patient care.” I absolutely love being able to work every day with such a wonderful team.

I enjoy spending time with family, first and foremost, attending their individual activities, and spoiling them every chance I get. My husband, Alan, and I reside in Keller, and enjoy going to the movies and going out dinner.

Catherine Des Rochers - Office Manager

Hi! I'm Catherine Des Rochers and I serve as Dr. Brown's Office Manager. I am here to assist patients with any questions they may have and to make their experience in our office and enjoyable one. I take great pride in being a professional and delivering excellent service to our patients.

I am extremely proud to work for Dr. Misty J. Brown because I am confident that our patients get the best in dental care and knowledge when they walk in the door. I chose to work here because of the emphasis on staying knowledgeable on the latest advances in dental treatment and the continuing education that Dr. Brown receives to stay the top in her field for our patients. I love how the office works as a team, always putting the need of the patient first.

I always thought that being a mother was the most gratifying feeling ever but she says being a grandmother top's everything. My two grandchildren, Dawson and Dylan, are the loves of my life and I spend as much time as possible with them. They make you appreciate the simple joys in life.

Keegan Beaty - Certified Dental Assistant

I'm Keegan Beaty and I serve as Dr. Brown's lead Dental Assistant. I have been in the dental field for the past 10 years and truly enjoy my career. Quality patient relationships, compassion and patient education are the most important aspects of my job.

I value working for a confident and extremely knowledgeable dentist. Dr. Brown is someone who has really gone the extra mile continuing her education to become a better dentist.

I am married to my best friend and have two beautiful children; Dawson and Dylan. Being a mother has made me the happiest person. I love spending my spare time with my family and friends.

Tammie Hagstrom - Dental Assistant

I'm Tammie Hagstrom and I serve as Dr. Brown's Dental Assistant. I have been assisting for over 12 years. Deciding to become a dental assistant was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

My favorite thing about working at Dr. Brown's office is my patient interaction because I truly care about our patients. I enjoy helping patients feel as comfortable as possible. I love with Dr. Brown because she amazing work ethic and love of dentistry and her patients.

I attended the University of Florida and relocated to Texas to be with her daughter and granddaughter. My hobbies include fishing, crafting and cooking.

Monique Slater - On Site Daycare Director

I'm Monique Slater and I serve as Dr. Brown's On-Site Day Care Director. One of the best things about being a part of Dr. Brown's practice is working with such a wonderful group of ladies. It is a privilege to work for Dr. Brown's office and provide their children with loving care so they are able to provide the most dedicated service they strive for everyday.

I enjoy my free time with her wonderful daughter, family and friends. I am honored to call the team part of that family. I am very grateful for the opportunities Dr. Misty Brown's practice has given me over the years.

Sarah McConnell - Dental Hygienist

My name is Sarah McConnell and I serve as Dr. Brown's Dental Hygienist. Though I grew up in the DFW Metroplex, I received my education in our neighboring state of Louisiana. I moved off to play softball at the University of Louisiana- Monroe and earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2007. At graduation, I received the Hue Friedy Golden Scaler Award, recognizing clinical skills, and the Ark-La-Miss Dental Specialty Award, recognizing proficiencies in head and neck anatomy, oral pathology and local anesthesia. Currently, I am a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association.

My husband, Caleb and I moved back to Texas in 2009 with our son Cohen. Now two years later we are the proud parents of another little boy, Cael. We are so happy to be here, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of Dr. Brown’s caring staff. I am excited to work with such a talented doctor, who impressed me not only with her attention to detail and her desire to do what is best for each and every patient, but also with her commitment to staying current in our ever-changing profession.
